Ana vatan\u0131 Asya, Orta Do\u011fu ve Afrika \u00fclkeleri olup, uzun zamand\u0131r tedavi edici ve hastal\u0131klar\u0131n geli\u015fimini \u00f6nleme amac\u0131yla hem modern t\u0131pta hem de geleneksel t\u0131pta yer almaktad\u0131r. Moringa bitkisinin baz\u0131 tedavi edici etkileri ve besleyici \u00f6zellikleri yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar ile kan\u0131tlanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bitkinin yapra\u011f\u0131n\u0131n i\u00e7erdi\u011fi A vitamini havu\u00e7tan 4 kat, \u0131spanaktan 20 kat fazlad\u0131r.
