D\u00fcnya Sa\u011fl\u0131k \u00d6rg\u00fct\u00fc (WHO) verilerine g\u00f6re 2016 y\u0131l\u0131nda t\u00fcm d\u00fcnyada 18 ya\u015f ve \u00fcst\u00fc 1,9 milyardan fazla yeti\u015fkin fazla kilolu,&nbsp;650 milyondan fazla yeti\u015fkin ise obezdir. 1975 y\u0131l\u0131ndan 2016 y\u0131l\u0131na kadar obezite prevelans\u0131 3 kat artm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de obezite prevelens\u0131 %30,3\u2019t\u00fcr. Obezitenin pek \u00e7ok hastal\u0131\u011f\u0131n ba\u015flang\u0131c\u0131nda \u00f6nemli bir rol ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 bilindi\u011finden bilim d\u00fcnyas\u0131 da oklar\u0131n\u0131 bu y\u00f6ne \u00e7evirmekte ve daha geni\u015f bir perspektiften bu konuyu ele almaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmaktad\u0131r. Biliyoruz ki obezitenin temel mekanizmas\u0131 al\u0131nan enerjinin harcanan enerjiden fazla olmas\u0131na dayal\u0131 peki biz neden almam\u0131z gereken enerjinin daha fazlas\u0131n\u0131 al\u0131yoruz, buna etkileyen durumlar ne? Gelin bug\u00fcn bunu konuyu konu\u015fal\u0131m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besin al\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 etkileyen fakt\u00f6rler iki ba\u015fl\u0131k alt\u0131nda toplanmaktad\u0131r. Bunlar homeostatik ve non- homeostatik (homesostatik olmayan) fakt\u00f6rler olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. Homeostatik fakt\u00f6rler bireyin fizyolojik enerji gereksinmelerini kar\u015f\u0131lanmas\u0131n\u0131 sa\u011flayacak olan y\u00f6nlerle ilgilidir, ya\u011f depolar\u0131ndaki ve kandaki mevcut enerji izlemi ile ili\u015fkilidir. Yani doygunluk olu\u015ftu\u011funda yeme s\u00fcrecinin sonland\u0131r\u0131lmas\u0131 ile ilgilidir diyebiliriz. Non-homesostatik fakt\u00f6rler ise daha \u00e7ok hedonik y\u00f6nlerle, haz duymakla ili\u015fkili yani Beyin \u00d6d\u00fcl Sistemi ile ilgilidir. Non- homeostatik fakt\u00f6rler gereksinmeler kar\u015f\u0131land\u0131ktan sonra bile besin al\u0131m\u0131n\u0131n devam etmesine neden olabilir, dolay\u0131s\u0131yla a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k kazan\u0131m\u0131na sonras\u0131nda da obeziteye sebep olabilmektedir. Bu da asl\u0131nda yaz\u0131n\u0131n ba\u015f\u0131nda da belirtti\u011finiz gibi gere\u011finden fazla besin almam\u0131za sebep olan durumu a\u00e7\u0131klamaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Peki Beyin \u00d6d\u00fcl Sistemi nedir, nas\u0131l bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma mekanizmas\u0131na sahiptir, obezite ile nas\u0131l bir ili\u015fkisi varm\u0131\u015f k\u0131saca bakal\u0131m. Beyin \u00d6d\u00fcl Sistemi, uyaranlara (ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k yap\u0131c\u0131 ila\u00e7, yiyecek vb.) kar\u015f\u0131 \u00f6d\u00fcllendirilerek ya da g\u00fc\u00e7lendirerek aktive edilen bir grup yap\u0131y\u0131 ifade etmektedir. Karma\u015f\u0131k bir beyin a\u011f\u0131 yap\u0131s\u0131na sahiptir. \u00d6d\u00fcllendirici bir uyarana maruz kal\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda beyin, bir n\u00f6rotransmitter olan dopamin sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 artt\u0131rarak yan\u0131t olu\u015fturur, bu da Beyin \u00d6d\u00fcl Sistemi ile ili\u015fkili yap\u0131lar\u0131n ana dopamin yollar\u0131 boyunca bulundu\u011funu g\u00f6sterir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0130nsan deneyiminde hemen hemen her \u015fey \u00f6d\u00fcllendirici olabilmekle beraber bu durum ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131l\u0131k i\u00e7in bir potansiyeldir.&nbsp; Besin de bunlardan biridir. G\u00f6r\u00fcnt\u00fc, koku ve lezzet de dahil olmak \u00fczere besin ile ilgili ipu\u00e7lar\u0131, \u00f6d\u00fcl s\u00fcre\u00e7lerini tetikleyen ve daha sonraki yiyecek se\u00e7imini ve t\u00fcketimini y\u00f6nlendiren beyin i\u00e7in \u00e7ekici uyaranlar gibi g\u00f6r\u00fcnmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uyu\u015fturucu vb. ila\u00e7larla besin al\u0131m\u0131 aras\u0131nda beyinde aktive edilen yollar benzerlik g\u00f6stermekte, dolayl\u0131 olarak da besin ba\u011f\u0131ml\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 akla getirmektedir. \u00c7e\u015fitli besin uyar\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131 al\u0131nd\u0131\u011f\u0131nda dopamin salg\u0131lanmaktad\u0131r. Bu da dopaminin, besin al\u0131m\u0131 \u00fczerinde homeostatik olmayan b\u00fcy\u00fck bir etki olarak ortaya \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 g\u00f6stermektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obez bireyler \u00fczerinde yap\u0131lan \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalarda dopamin sal\u0131n\u0131m\u0131nda, dopamin resept\u00f6r say\u0131s\u0131nda azalma, ve beyin \u00f6d\u00fcl cevap b\u00f6l\u00fcmlerinde y\u00fcksek hassasiyet g\u00f6r\u00fclm\u00fc\u015f ve bunun da a\u015f\u0131r\u0131 yeme ile ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu saptanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
