Hastal\u0131klar\u0131n tedavisinde ve \u00f6nlenmesinde, ba\u011f\u0131\u015f\u0131kl\u0131k sistemini g\u00fc\u00e7lendirme amac\u0131yla, ruhsal olarak rahatlama ve uyku kalitesini art\u0131rma gibi nedenlerle \u00e7e\u015fitli bitkiler tercih edilmektedir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bitki \u00e7aylar\u0131n\u0131n sa\u011fl\u0131\u011f\u0131 koruyucu etkisi i\u00e7eriklerindeki \u00e7e\u015fitli biyoaktif bile\u015fenlerden ileri gelmektedir. Ara\u015ft\u0131rmalara g\u00f6re, bitkilerin yapraklar\u0131 s\u0131cak su i\u00e7erisinde demlendi\u011finde 3-5 dakika i\u00e7erisinde i\u00e7eri\u011findeki biyoaktif bile\u015fenlerin %69-85\u2019i suya sal\u0131nmaktad\u0131r. Bahsi ge\u00e7en bu biyoaktif bile\u015fenlerin antioksidan, antienflamatuar ve antimikrobiyal etkileri bulunmaktad\u0131r.
