Ve bu dengeyi sa\u011flarken g\u00fcnl\u00fck ihtiya\u00e7 duyulan enerjinin %55&#8217;i yani yar\u0131s\u0131ndan fazlas\u0131 karbonhidratlar taraf\u0131ndan kar\u015f\u0131lanmaktad\u0131r. \u00c7\u00fcnk\u00fc v\u00fccudun \u00f6ncelikli olan enerji kayna\u011f\u0131 karbonhidratlard\u0131r. E\u011fer v\u00fccuda yeterli karbonhidrat al\u0131nmazsa ihtiya\u00e7 duydu\u011fu enerjiyi proteinlerden kar\u015f\u0131layacakt\u0131r.
