Bu aminoasitlerin bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 v\u00fccudumuz \u00fcretebilirken bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131 ise \u00fcretemeyip d\u0131\u015far\u0131dan almak zorundad\u0131r. D\u0131\u015far\u0131dan al\u0131nmas\u0131 zorunlu olan bu aminoasitlere elzem aminoasitler denir. \u00d6rne\u011fin kurubaklagillerin protein i\u00e7eri\u011fi y\u00fcksek ancak elzem aminoasitlerden yetersizdir bu sebeple biyoyararlan\u0131m\u0131 d\u00fc\u015f\u00fckt\u00fcr. Kurubaklagilleri tah\u0131lla birlikte t\u00fcketiyor olmak eksik olan elzem aminoasitleri tamamlamakta olup v\u00fccutta kullan\u0131m\u0131n\u0131 art\u0131rmaktad\u0131r.
